Objective of Submitting a Summary: To make sure you have extracted the necessary information from the articles so you can evaluate the articles and comment on them.

I am providing a worksheet to guide you, you may use/or not use but your summary MUST BE HAND-written.

(Research on how the brain processes information suggests that when we take notes by hand, our brain is better able to process the information).

    1. You will be required to compare/contrast the TWO RESEARCH articles you have chosen.
      1. You will provide a summary of each article:. What concept from psychology did they research? How did they define the concept, how did they do the study (methods)? How were they similar, how were they different?
      2. You will evaluate the articles based on what you think was well done and why, and in what ways the article(s) was limited and how it could have been improved.
    2. What did you find most interesting/applicable about these articles?
      1. Was there something remarkable about their findings?
      2. Was there something that caught your attention?
      3. To whom would these studies be useful and why?

Optional Worksheet: PSYC 101 Article Comparison Worksheet.pdf. (print and fill out).

After you have completed the summary (from the worksheet or manually by hand), take pictures and compile them into 1 file using a scanning App. Upload 1 File with the information requested on the worksheet.
